A core objective of the HSRA is to ensure that all entities and persons subject to the NSRP Act (2015) and Regulations (2019) are compliant. In order to achieve this, the Authorization and Training unit is responsible for undertaking sensitization sessions in the applicable requirements of the law and the HSRA’s processes for authorization. Sensitization sessions may take the form of in-person and/or virtual presentations made to key stakeholders and are conducted by the D.A.T. and T.O.s on a scheduled basis. Further to this, HSRA undertakes training sessions/workshops/seminars for various stakeholder groups in order to raise awareness and drive compliance in revised requirements of the HSRA, local/international regulations, and best practices.
